Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) has been one of the best-kept secrets in health and beauty treatments.
Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) has been one of the best-kept secrets in health and beauty treatments.
Lymph Dynamics uses Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), a specialized treatment with precise, light, rhythmical hand movements that gently stretch and release the skin in a circular motion along the lymphatic pathways. The resulting effects include increased health and well-being, and decreased downtime post surgery.
The lymphatic system removes excess metabolic waste, excess water, toxins, bacteria, large protein molecules and foreign substances from the tissues and filters them through the lymph nodes. Nutrients and oxygen are then able to rejuvenate and restore the tissues. By accelerating the detoxification process, healing is also accelerated.
Accelerated post-op healing
Reduced inflammation
Minimized risk of infection
Scar tissue healing
Reduces swollen ankles/puffy eyes Improves Acne and Rosacea Detoxification
Pain relief
Manual Lymphatic Drainage successfully alleviates pain and swelling and counters the pain and discomfort of post cosmetic or medical surgery. The nurturing, light touch promotes deep, rejuvenating relaxation. All forms of cosmetic surgery cause temporary bruising, inflammation, and loss of movement in the skin. Manual Lymphatic Drainage, however, should not be used in the treatment of malignant cancer, acute inflammation with infection, congestive heart failure or thrombosis.
Experience not only a faster post-surgical recovery, but a more comfortable one. By removing toxic substances residing in the tissues, you will look and feel better sooner, and greatly reduce your down-time. Also, by calming the nervous system, you will experience deep relaxation by encouraging the release of stress and anxiety causing chemicals. Treatments can resume immediately after surgery so that fluids in the tissues do not become congested.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage will alleviate pain and swelling; thereby promoting rejuvenation of the tissues and deep relaxation. The slow and rhythmic movements stimulate touch receptors in the skin that carry messages of pleasure and block the pain messages. Clients often fall into a deep, restorative sleep and wake up with increase of overall well-being.
